- Gilad Carni
With extensive knowledge of the event marketing industry, Gilad Carni founded GC Marketing Services in 2001. Gilad holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and an MBA in International Marketing and Entrepreneurship with Distinction from the University of South Florida. He frequently acts as a guest lecturer at the Stern Business School and is often employed as a consultant for Wall Street due to his expertise in the field of event marketing. Gilad has also been featured in numerous publications both national and international and has made appearances on a variety of television shows.
Gilad began his career in the liquor and tobacco marketing fields and he has overseen a vast number of marketing campaigns. Prior to opening his own agency, Gilad worked for Phillip Morris and was responsible for their event marketing bar program in New York. Gilad is now chairman of GC Marketing and has been a crucial mechanism in its expansion and growth. After serving in the Israeli military, Gilad made New York City his home and enjoys skiing and scuba diving.
- Noah Harlan
Noah Harlan has run a variety of businesses in media and entertainment over the past ten years. Most prominently he cofounded 2.1 Films, a New York production and development company through which he has produced or coproduced five feature films and numerous documentaries. Noah received an Emmy award in 2008 for a short work titled “A Clearing in the Fog” which he directed. Some of the commercials and media projects Noah has produced have been seen on broadcasts including: MTV and NBC, every broadcast network and numerous prominent cable networks.
Noah is on the faculty of New York University where he teaches producing and filmmaking and has been a guest lecturer at Williams College. He is also a published author of two books released by Penguin. Noah is a graduate of Williams College with a degree in Computer Science. He also studied media at The University of Melbourne, Australia.
- Heather Preston
Vice President of Booking
Heather started working in the staffing industry with a company in the Southern New Jersey – Philadelphia and remained in the staffing industry in the Philadelphia region for the next eleven years. As Senior Recruiter for her former employer she was responsible for corporate staffing, recruiting in several states, the opening of new company offices and supervising various marketing recruiting and staffing operations. At the same time, she was involved in several nonprofit organizations and charities as well as Welfare to Work, a service program intended to assist the unemployed.
Heather came to New York City in 2005 and soon after joined GC Marketing Services as the Senior Staffing Coordinator. Heather devotes an extremely substantial amount of time to interacting with clients and Talent and ensuring that all events are smoothly and successfully completed. Her keen attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in managing a wide array of event staffing projects simultaneously make Heather exceptionally well suited to her current position as the Vice President of Booking. In her free time, Heather enjoys wine tastings, cooking, being involved in theatre and traveling around the world.
- Shazia Khalid

Shazia Khalid graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies. While attending school she worked in diverse aspects of the work force before finding her place at GC in October of 2007. Previously she was a Sales Consultant for a Queens-based wedding planning company and started out as a host in a Manhattan restaurant where she quickly become an Assistant Manager. Her passion to grow in the business world, accompanied by her attention to detail and organization, has only made her a shining gem at GC. When asked about the best part about GC, she’ll say “it’s great to be able to interact with various types of individuals nationwide on a daily basis.”
Growing up in Queens, NY and having a biracial background fuels her passion for cuisine and traveling. Her obsessions include collecting flip flop/shoe magnets and playing card games. Her two addictions are chapstick and cake.
- Myasia Butler

Myasia is a graduate of Plattsburgh State University with a B.A. in Magazine Journalism. In her senior year Myasia discovered that she did not want to pursue a career in Journalism, so she enrolled in Plattsburgh State’s Mental Health counseling master’s program. Myasia recently moved back down from the Adirondacks to her native Brooklyn and is looking at local universities to complete her masters.
In her spare time Myasia enjoys shopping, reading, scrapbooking and is currently learning the art of couponing.
